Australians hold key to Prius city car

Patrons at this year's Australian International Motor Show will help determine the fate of Toyota's upcoming hybrid city car.
Their feedback will be crucial in helping the local company decide whether the production version of the
Prius c Concept should come to Australia.
The Prius c Concept is the inspiration for a future small hybrid with an entry price point and superior fuel economy.
With strong urban appeal, it is a full hybrid - which means it will deliver strong performance, great fuel economy and ultra-low emissions.
It is targeted at compact-car buyers, including young singles and couples, who want a mainstream city car that is fun to drive while also delivering outstanding fuel economy.
Despite its compact dimensions, the show car has a surprisingly spacious interior. It also features advanced technology features.
Production is due to begin next year, but no timing has been announced for a possible Australian introduction.
