New LandCruiser Prado will simultaneously improve its off-road abilities and make it easier for city dwellers to drive every day, following its unveiling today in Australia, in tandem with Japan and Frankfurt.
With more than 90 per cent of customers using Prado for weekly on-road driving, Prado increasingly bridges the gap between a capable off-roader and a passenger car.
Due here in November, Prado has been restyled, re-engineered and packed with new technologies.

The fourth-generation Prado is slightly longer, wider and lower, giving it a broad, planted stance with improved aerodynamics.
A three-dimensional vertical grille has evolved from the current model, giving an increased sense of depth and texture, while staying true to its LandCruiser heritage.
A more powerful four-litre petrol engine contributes to improved torque, fuel economy and emissions.
Advanced technologies to be announced closer to the launch will help Prado drivers navigate bumpy outback terrain.
